Hello everyone
So now its my turn:) I dont know how to begin but I hope to get to the point.
My topic is "Co-existence",the class is the 9th grade.
First, I want to take them to an arab school to have an activity with pupils of the same age.
Second step : to see and to hear what will be the reaction of my pupils once they meet with the arab pupils.I will ask them to write what did they feel,how was the first impression and how was the interaction with the new people they met.
Third step:I want them to think of what was the purpose of this meeting?
Why did we visit an arab school?
I will ask them if they had exchanged phone numbers or emails with the new people they met? Then if they would like to invit them to our school?Did they find things in common?
Then I will ask them to make a movie where they have to show examples of Co-existence.
This is what I understood I have to do as a first step ,please let me know if i am in the right direction":)

ReplyDeleteI think your assembling is very clear and it is an interessting idea. But with the situation we have today in Israel I don't know if you can accompalish it with every class. I also don't know how affective it will be. I think it depends on the class you are teaching.
